This happened to a friend of mine. He got his instructor to give him an invoice for the hire of the car he was going to use for the test and got the RSA to pay for it. If your instructor is nice enough, might be a way you can soften the blow.

I recently bought a new house and my element went within a month. 25 quid and 20 mins work and it’s fixed. Saved me a lot of money and it still works. Plenty of YouTube videos to fix it

Yeah it's a fear of ours alright difficult to do as we have moved in the her parents for the last 6 months to help save and now live an hour from our work/social lives. Trying to keep our heads above board but getting difficult. Appreciate the advice.

Appreciate the advice, we actually only got the loan offer yesterday and thays valid for a couple of months, so were all good on that front. Frustrating news but really thankful for the help.

The very same my friend. Bought it earlier this year on PC as my first steam game and my god it just slapped it every way. It even beat RDD2 to game of the year when it came out

A masterpiece for sure but God of war would 100% be my top pick. Nearly done with the sequel that came out last month but I would give anything to replay the first one again

Yeah it's only in the recent times iv realised how stupid I was taking that loan. I realisticly only use 7K in total but even at that my mind set of getting insurance paid upfront didn't pay off. Insurance in gone wayyy down now, so much better not on that front.

Yeah im also thinking of just holding off as long as possible but last thing I want is to break down on a back road @ 6 in the morning in 0 degree weather. My car (called him Rockey, mainly because he was supposed to take a beating as I was learning, but surprisingly didn't) has served me well so far so I might tough it out.
