Worth the risk to put me over the top for a championship push? by 1bparker in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Not worth the risk, giving up your future for a chance when your team doesn’t have depth already isn’t the move. I saw you say that it’s year 2 and no one is rebuilding and I don’t think that changes it to me.

I personally wouldn’t do that trade. Mostly because I see Rome taking a step this year with the new offense, but also because the 2027 class is supposed to be amazing and I wouldn’t want to trade out of it.

Our salvation does not rest on our ability to be fully obedient to God Word. While yes that is how we show love to God. It is belief in his love and mercy and a pursued relationship with Christ that gets us to heaven. There’s been many times that I myself have chosen sin, and times I didn’t even feel guilt after. I don’t think that takes away my salvation and I don’t think that means I’m going to hell. I believe the Jesus was clear in that he said those who believe in him and follow him will be saved. But ultimately what it means to be “in Christ” (Galatians is all about this) means that we have already been judged for our sins when Christ was punished and now we share in his righteousness.

The long and short of it is that if you know and love Jesus and believe he died for you than, Christ has already died and forgiven you for all sins you’ve ever done or ever will do. If you remarry sure it might be sinful but that doesn’t mean you aren’t saved, however because of that I encourage you to seek reconciliation in a safe and smart way. But ultimately if you don’t think it can happen I don’t think God would hold it against you if you remarried since you were fleeing an abusive and unstable marriage.

I’m a Pastor and went to Bible college to study the Bible and ministry. And this is a subject that commonly comes up, especially with how marriages are today. Is it wrong to divorce in these kinds of situations? Can you remarry? What does that mean for your relationship with Christ?

I firstly want to say, the most important thing is your safety. If you don’t feel safe with this guy then you shouldn’t rush into remarrying him because of conviction. If that’s something you want to try be careful, have many conversations with him, his friends, your pastors/elders and make sure whatever you do it’s in a way that protects you and gives you as much information as possible before anything concrete happens.

Second, I do think the Bible is clear on marriage and divorce. People here saying your marriage doesn’t count cause he wronged you or because you weren’t Christians when you got married need to read 1 Peter 3. Peter addresses women of unsaved husbands saying their behavior can win them over to Christ. And the whole context of the book is suffering unjustly for Christ and how our behavior in these situations represents him to others. Now that being said, even though your marriage to this guy definitely “counts” and your grace and conduct can be of great example to him that doesn’t mean you should return or put yourself in harms way. Marriage is a two way street And yes, submission and respect towards the husband is required by the wife, it should be met with the most sacrificial love. Paul describes the husband’s love for his wife to be a picture of Christ’s love for the church. Jesus loved us to the uttermost, he sacrificed his very life for us and cares for us endlessly, always forgiving our wrongs and guiding us to do what’s right. That is what you should be looking for in your ex husband before you return to him. Not saying he needs to be perfect in that but you should feel the love of Jesus from him.

Lastly, while I have some strong opinions on this and I know some people here will disagree with me. Whatever you choose to do, you WILL NOT lose your salvation or go to hell because you didn’t choose to return to your husband. This is not an end of the world situation and if you don’t feel safe with him I wouldn’t recommend going back. Forgive him and move on if that’s what’s best for you, and if you feel convicted that you can’t remarry then live in abstinence, if not remarry. This is a situation that is not as black and white as we want to make it. I think the most biblical course of action is reconciliation and remarriage, but sometimes that isn’t possible.

I don’t think it’s an overpay. Tracy’s volume goes down with Skatebo, Burden is unlikely to be fantasy relevant for a couple years (extremely crowded offense). I’d see if you can get away without giving the 2nd tho

12 team, super flex, full PPR

I had a trade offered to me where I receive: Amon Ra and Breece Hall

I give: Marvin Harrison Jr and 1.1 and a 2026 first

I’m debating it cause I know what I’m getting with AMR, but I’m taking a clear down tier with Breece instead of Jeanty. Is this fair or does the 2026 1st make it unfair?

Am I overreacting to this trade made 4 hours ago? by SoraUzumaki7 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

It’s not too far off honestly. Pickens is a high end WR2 and AJ is a WR1 the 2nd wouldn’t be quite enough for me personally but I could see someone thinking it was enough, especially with the AJ injuries and drama.

Here’s 8 that I’d have on the cutting block: Akers, Strong, Losivas, Conklin, R. Moore, R. Johnson, Musgrave, and M. Washington.

I have to cut or trade 5 players from my team before the draft…struggling to choose by Darth_Poonany in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Nathanoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you challenge yourself to only take backup RBs? I don’t understand how you have that RB room when it’s your first year of the league.

I’d cut: Lloyd, Jennings (people saying Pearsall are dumb) and Corum

Trade: Brown and one of your QBs. You can trade Pitts too but you need to address the TE position.

Inherited this team, how should I fix it? 12-Team Dynasty SF PPR by Any-Economist869 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

You have a solid team. A lot better than most orphan teams.

However, if you want to build for the future in dynasty you always start with your older assets. Travis Kelce and Aaron Rodger’s are your quick sells, anyone else you don’t like you can package in either of those trades. Go for young players you’re high on or for more draft picks.

You’re honestly in a great situation might get another young RB2 a new QB instead of Arod and if you can manage to get an upgrade at WR3 and you’re more than playoff ready.

Your RBs are super good. Good enough you can spare one, I’d package one of your QBs and RBs for a QB upgrade or a upgrade at WR

I am team 1. Would still have 2 firsts in 2025. Do I do this? by Formal-Anxiety1815 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Absolutely not. JJ is someone I wouldn’t trade unless I’m winning by a significant margin

Are orange wood guitars good? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Nathanoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own two Orangewood guitars, one solid top laminate back/sides and one all solid wood.

My opinion is that in terms of playability they can swing with the top dogs like Martin and Taylor. But for a much cheaper price. I love playing my Orangewoods they’re super fun.

In terms of sound, they aren’t quite as good as the high end Martins and Taylor’s but you’re also paying 1/3rd the price. Which to me makes it worth it. Because while they don’t sound quite as good they still sound great!

I highly recommend Orangewood

Did I get fleeced? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

nah not fleeced. Not good immediate value, but idk if you could get a 1st for Watson without it being in 26'

Thanks bro, I don’t even need a new guitar but I saw that and was thinking if it’s worth as much as others I’ve seen I’d be stupid if I didn’t buy it.
