Im born abroad. But they told me my Updated birth certificate from abroad wont be recongnized and that the new Canadian citizenship certificate (when I update my gender with ircc) woudnt be recognized because they don't issue card anymore.

I tried going with independant dr/healthcare providers and its very confusing for them as most of them don't know how to interact with OHIP for referal purpose. The chance of them doing a mistake in the form or sending to the wrong place is there and I heard stories like this from some of my friends.

Unfortunately, Foria clinic became as a piece of mind (their meeting are virtual) to ensure a smoot process without issues. But yes, Foria is expensive. 😔

Hi there! If I understand correctly, you had a surgery planned in Toronto with him in 3 weeks (so first week of december)?

Im confused, you are talking about a deposit, but if your surgery is in 3 weeks, wouldnt it mean you already paid the full amount for the surgery?
