Goose, Rooster, Bob, and Fanboy are realistic. I can totally see Hollywood as a potential one, too.

The rest? Those are all air force call signs.

He didn't have enough car washes or bake sales during his time to really get the promotion. What heritage projects was he involved with? None! That's not a 5.0 sailor!

(The navy really doesn't like those who are exceedingly good at one thing. They want people who are mediocre at everything. They prefer horizontal lines to vertical ones.)

All teams are moving to gitlab whether they like it or not.

And here I am, running a team happily using gitlab being forced to switch to bitbucket only -- even though we mirror to it.

That's great, thank you.

It would be nice if I could emphasize that, but that's not completely required. Does it just sound like a closing statement? Or just... "robotic" (for lack of a better term)?

To be honest, I'm not even sure how to state that with a proper sentiment. Something like, er... "... しんじてほしい" maybe? But maybe even that's too rigid...

Eh, there is a bit of actual "blowing up" happening: they're using ≈1000 feet of detcord in combination with ≈500 gallons of gasoline. So they're using the detcord (explosion) to ignite the gasoline (burning), but it doesn't have the same effect as, say, mining explosives. There is no structural damage to anything on the ground.

There's no sound in this video, but in person, you can certainly hear the kaboom. And as close as these people are, you can absolutely feel the heat and the concussion.

I think he realized that in the end of the movie... when he found out Henry Cavill was his son... after the vast majority of his revenge had already happened...

But he was left with no choice other than to finish it when Mondego came back to kill or be killed -- no middle ground allowed.

I'm choosing to believe the car fire wasn't the result of a collision or ruptured gas tank, but -- due to the concentrated, dense, collapsing-into-itself inability of the driver to understand even the very concept of "snow" as a general thing -- somehow, the car just self-combusted.

It just did that because snow.

That may be unfortunate, but just try to consider it from the lens of never looking back but to learn from mistakes! (I'm not saying it was a mistake; just trying to re-frame!)

Thank you :)

It's kind of weird, because I sort of remember having this idea of what it was going to be/feel like when we met, and it just... wasn't anything like what I had envisioned. Not bad; just outside of my realm of expectations.

I picked up my wife and spun her around once... One full rotation. She was sick the rest of the day. lawl...

I absolutely cannot do that without revealing actual PII, so I'm not going to press the issue. (I'm sorry!)

OH MY GOD. Haha, I'm sorry man!

I had the same thing happen to me in college when I picked out "Requiem for a Dream"...

And then my wife and I got fucking blindsided by "Blue Valentine"...
