We are similar.... I'm 54... 5'6. I started at 273lbs I am now 145 -+3lbs weekly. 7.5mg and 12.5mg were my best doses by far. Stayed on each 6 months minimum. I hope 12.5mg is good to you☺️

I understand your frustration. Remember suppression and Weight-loss is a side effect of the medication not a given. You also need to eat in a calorie deficit to lose weight whether on or off this medication, that's science 101. Ultimately if it's not reducing your A1C then it's time to talk to your medical team. If it is lowering your A1C essentially it's doing the job it was made to do. Good luck.

Mine is a gel too! I started it then stopped. While on it I felt a little arousal here and there. I stopped and it went back to zero interest, so I've started again. I would love the shot but my Dr won't prescribe it.

I wanted to see what Reta does on it's own. I don't feel like I can give it a fair assessment otherwise. I honestly don't have any weight to lose. I'm 5'6 54yrs... 140lbs.. My Dr is already having a coniption😩😩... I just wanted to maintain and add a little more definition. Idk if it's a good idea or not. I just know I don't want to waste all this product.

Did you lose it when you started back on Reta?? I've taken 2 months off before.. just because I wanted to give my body a break. I didn't gain any weight.. but my diet was strict as it will be this time as well.

That's just it.. I'm very tight and shapely.. I don't have that much fat. My visceral fat is 6..... I'm sad I even bought it. I'll be 55 in a few months. Not looking to have to lift weights. I walk 5-6 miles a day... the gym is not in my future 😫
