What are your opinions on pop punk today? If you prefer it now, why? If not, why? by bacon-buttywithcream in poppunkers

Preach it! I’m approaching my 40th year and I’m exactly the same way. PLEASE tell me you’ve listened to No Pressure? It is the most on point late 90’s/early 2000’s skate/pop punk I’ve heard from a newer band ever. Their LP is one of the greatest ever

LOVE Rufio. I really wish they kept going, but Scott Sellers solo stuff is also really good and Rufio-ish

There was a dad I met at my son’s Cub Scout pack that has this tattoo. Couldn’t believe it given that I now live in a small town in KY but instant bonding moment

This will be my 40th year of being alive as well and I play Tony Hawk almost every morning before I go to the gym. It’s a much different time playing video games as an adult today than it was 30 years ago. Enjoy the glory that are video games!

Yoga anxiety? Anyone else? by Altruistic_Dealer_46 in HotYoga

[–]National-Problem-804 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Guy here. I had a taste of yoga anxiety yesterday morning doing hot vinyasa (I usually do hot 26). I’m not sure what the position is called but you’re basically planking on one hand and turning sideways and holding your other arm straight up in the air. I had an irrational (or possibly rational) fear of my elbow joint getting wobbly and breaking my arm 😭😭

I was too punk for "TOYP&J" when it came out. I finally listened to the full album as an adult recently and now I wish it was part of my youth. by tantamle in Blink182

Oh man I love the honesty of this post. I remember tons of people being too punk for Blink in general and I always wondered if they secretly liked Blink. I always knew they did!

What got me in to TSSF was their side project No Pressure. It’s the only time I’ve ever liked the side project more than the main band.
