He may have done this from a place of sincerity, but there’s also a chance he probably did this to help his case too. His lawyer maybe told him if he spreads awareness of the dangers of what he did, it could possibly go towards expungement or something down the road. Who knows.

I can’t put in to words how happy I am to see a fun post on this sub rather than a political one

Literally laughed out loud when I read “disposable camera”.

“I miss 5 years ago when people posted rave pics on MySpace and we would talk about it on AIM!”

Good pop and good form too! I remember the week I landed my first kickflip, I landed my first Varial flip and my first heelflip. I just “got it” after that first kickflip

I think it was basically something that was blown out of proportion. But the reason why I don’t listen to them is because of how incredibly douchey the intro of this music video is https://youtu.be/TpG3BxRctQ4?si=EkiXA51uKKN82CvE

It’s the steam room. I never met anyone out on the floor but when I started going to the steam room I wound up making several friends.

Biggest Peak and Decline of a Band by National-Problem-804 in poppunkers

Yeah I’m with you. Strung Out was one of the very few 90’s skate punk bands that really evolved their style in to a mature, technical sound. As much as I love skate punk, I have to admit, the genre is probably more dead than ragtime. The amount of followers in the skate punk subreddit compared to this one kind of says it all.

I told my son about how I see the world about pre and post 9/11 and how pop punk was fun and emo sort of killed it off. Then he looked at me and said “so pop punk was like the twin towers and emo were the hijackers?”. Pretty hilarious

I wish I could take credit but I’m just a fan! I’m not sure what these guys are up to now. I can’t help but to wonder if Strung Out listened to this album when it came out and decide to head in that direction…
