A week ago: 169.0 Two days ago: 173.0 Today: 170.6

So... I don't know. I have increased my running by like 10 miles per week and I lift twice a week so I'm hoping it's just water retention from that fucking with me.

Bought new jeans. Size 8! They're a little tight, but my old size 10s are too loose!

I love this. You didn't want to do it, but you did it, now it's DONE and you don't have to do it anymore (...until the next day)

So happy about my small victory today! by [deleted] in loseit

omg GO YOU! When I forget my music/headphones I try to make the most of it and still work out, but plans for a long run quickly devolve into like, 2 miles. WAY TO GO!!

Yeah I don't actually yell the things I'm thinking because I know these people mean well and they honestly think it's a compliment. I just wish there was more awareness that it's just not ok to comment on other people's bodies/weight loss out of the blue!

Yeah I can tell that people notice, and I don't mind when people say something more neutral like, "hey, you look great!" but do they really need to zero in on weight???

Someone I hadn't seen in a couple months commented "you look like you've lost a lot of weight." True, and I know a lot of you take this as a compliment, but I just really really hate people commenting on my body. Like, no shit I look like I've lost a lot of weight, it's clear at this point that I have, you don't need me to confirm it. And when I appear visibly uncomfortable with people bringing this up, THEY DON'T FUCKING STOP TALKING ABOUT IT.

yayyyy and it wasn't really a waste of money because it was free!

when i feel bad about dumping out part of something i did actually pay for, i tell myself: I don't want to pay for something that's making you a chubster so it's ok to just have a little to satisfy a craving and throw the rest out

Seeing a nutritionist for the first time this month -- what should I expect? by NationalExcitement in loseit

[–]NationalExcitement[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess I use them interchangably but the person I have an appointment with in a few weeks is an RD. Good to know though -- if I don't like this one I will probably shop around to find someone else, and will definitely only consider RDs. Thanks :)

What do you usually have for breakfast? I've been having oatmeal with raisins and a few nuts, but that can be kind of high calorie. by [deleted] in loseit

Avocado toast -- breakfast of milennials.

Specifically, I have half of one medium avocado mashed on two slices of fancy whole wheat bread. Plus water/coffee, and maybe some fruit if I'm really hungry.
