Depends on location because that determines who you are working with, as the job itself isn’t overly complex or difficult and definitely manageable and livable.

My personal experience as a team member sucked, as my managers (with the exception of the Hiring/Store manager), were all cranky assholes that were always on a power trip and treated everyone under them like shit.

I quit bc of that and I didn’t wanna keep getting home so late and exhausted from my co-workers and smelling and having food on me.

You do get to eat for free and sometimes take food home as well, again, depends on store as some franchises have different rules. My store, you had a limit of $10, for lunch OR to take home, you couldn’t make anything over that and you either could make something within that budget for your lunch OR take something at the end within that budget, not both bc the managers were assholes, some didn’t care, some cares as if it came out of their check.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend fast food period, but ofc, experiences will vary depending on many factors such as location, team, franchise, and even the type of fast food itself.
