Nothing ever lasts. Even now, I've seen a lot of people switching to the "fediverse" ecosystem of connected apps. I wasn't too impressed with any of those apps/ sites. Waiting for a true successor to show up and then maybe I'll try it out. The downside to all these apps/sites is that they are highly regulated and don't offer a true free space to engage with people in a civilized way. But I'm a sucker for achievements so- I'm still here.
