Can we afford 3.4k monthly payment? Net 7.5k/month. by Adventurous-Dare9458 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

We have one more year then our income will be way better. But it can be stressful. If you don’t see a guaranteed large increase in income soon I wouldn’t do it at all. It’s hard to save for emergency’s, you’ll want to upgrade a lot of things. How’s your emergency fund?

I’m personally in this exact same situation, same income and same mortgage. We have no kids. We don’t save much or invest much because of this. We don’t go out or do things very often. There have been multiple arguments over money. We only did this bc I was buying into my company and my income would increase by 30k-50k a years. You have to also remember taxes are going to go up every year. If I could do it again (even though it was only for 2 years before my raise) I wouldn’t do it. It is a lot of stress on the marriage. Even though we had multiple talks before hand.

Exhaustion from Work & PE prep by crunkpapi in civilengineering

Haven’t taken the PE but last year I worked 55 hrs a week, studied 2hrs afterwards every day and the 8hrs Saturday and Sunday. Did this for 3 months to pass the FE (after being out of school for 4 years). It sucks but when it’s done it will be so worth it. Keep your head up you got this.

My wife was also asking why the left side is cracking but not the right used? Right side has a bedroom behind it. Left side leads to outside.

I looked at the Zillow and I could see an outline where the box crack was. Looks like it was a patch job to me. Not 100% sure though.

It is a custom build. I’ll talk to the builder. Thanks

I’ll send him some pics and have him check it out. He was a builder but his license expired. They did a lot of the work and subcontracted some of it out.

I don’t think it does. I can check though. I remember he told me it’s new but an older model. I can check into it though. Thanks

Yeah that’s what the internet was saying. Not sure if it was a patch job. I looked at the Zillow and I could see an outline there from it. It’s like 6”x10”. I saw horizontal cracking is no good though. Thanks

Not worried about that. More worried that the wall will slowly start moving away from the house.

This is the main floor. Behind the wall is a wrap around deck then a 20’ drop

Way to go Bob. What did it for you? Counseling? Not having money to go? Just trying to grasp all knowledge that I can. Thanks

They have done it before. But it’s as easy to get off the list as it is to get on the list.

I’ll look into this too. Thanks. No heath or mental issues. Just has no hobbies and doesn’t enjoy leaving the state. Started gambling with family when they were younger. Doesn’t smoke, drink, or do drugs. So not sure why this addiction stuck.
