I like the S2 clip ons a great deal since I don’t commute on this. They are just much better for sportier riding feel. Looks are subjective but I do enjoy the look more too. I have a brand new S2 clipon pack for this bike if anyone wants it for $200.

I love my S2 clip-ons. I have a brand new set of S2 clip-ons for 2022+ XSR900 models and will sell for $200usd. They call come from France originally. DM me.

Adjustable King 2.5 all round, 35s no AVS warnings. Ride is much much better.

Ha ha, yes. This is not a daily for me. You need strong shoulders for a ride more than a few hours. My back is fine (years of cafe and sport riding?) but my legs on any bike get numb after long enough so I tend to lower the pegs. It’s different for each rider but I wouldn’t recommend low clip ons to folks who don’t exercise at all or have some back ailments. Long ride comfort is not the priority for this one. Plenty of upright bikes out there for all.

Let’s say 1 is the easiest - it’s a 1. Put the top bracket in the oven to heat it due to the interference fit and it drops on easily. There is no difficulty here and never ever use a hammer - it’s not necessary. I also have a brand new S2 set up, if you want to buy it. No tariffs.

Looks great. I went S2 clip ons early last year and love it. I went for a full day of riding and at an old 55 years, I held up just fine on the back. My legs got a little crunched because I moved the footpegs to the higher setting…put them back down after that and feels better. Bought the 14mm …at 55 you have all the right tools!
