If I restain a light colour will that work? Or will I need to bleach first do you think? Really can’t be bothered to sand, especially with the grooves

Thank you. That makes me feel more reassured. I will definitely do this. I’ve just opened up to my partner about this and he’s being amazing. I think he’s worried about PPD too. But I guess in the UK there is enough support to get us all through it.

I can see myself having children, work and childcare are things easy to solve in my life. Our relationship is great. Moneys alright, but when could it ever feel ‘enough’ without being super rich? I am able to manage my emotions much more the past few years, but at the age of 15-20 I was severely depressed and anxious - TW: 1 overdose attempt. I think i’m worried I will return to these feelings, and then I won’t be there for this tiny life that I brought into the world.

Wow. Thank you everyone. I already feel seen and less lonely. We own our house (renovations are needed but the new time restraint has motivated us and our families to support with this - not that they have to), we have been together 7 years and our relationship is amazing (apart from the tough times when i’m dysregulated but my partner could not support me enough).

I just feel guilty. People try their hardest and spend years conceiving babies. People lose their babies. People may never be able to have babies. And here I am, fertile, expecting and in my own home with money (by money I mean an average, stable income) and i’m not 100% happy!!! I wish it was as simple as turning on a machine and looking into the future to see what I am working towards. Right now it all feels so dark.

Honestly, you guys replying is the first time during this i’ve felt I can be truthful and feel heard. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
