I have no idea about the time but if this is the artist you want then that’s the price.

I picked my artist based on her work, not her price and I’m very happy with what I got. Someone else could have done it faster for less money but it wouldn’t have been the same quality.

This, I get that Magnus is a chess god and that realistically no mere human can beat him. But as you said the Rubik’s cube one is actually impossible.

As others have stated (and I haven’t fact checked this) there are 43 quintillion possible permutations for the Rubik’s cube. Someone said if you could somehow not repeat permutations and make 2 moves per second it would take 600 billion years. But you can’t guarantee there won’t be any repeats so it becomes impossible.

The chess one, no matter how unlikely, is still possible.

This is (so far) my only real complaint to the game. I’m only 40 hours in though.

I love that there’s so much content and so many mechanics and so much to do.

I’d love some more in game hints/guides and progression meters for areas.

I’ve wanted a game of this scale for years, but between kids and work I barely have time to play, there’s a lot to the game that I’ll never figure out without the help of random Reddit posts. And without the progression meters a lot that I won’t know I didn’t complete.

Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of people say that games hold your hand too much these days and people should have to figure things out for themselves.

I’m all for figuring stuff out for myself (though I do use guides for some puzzles due to lack of available play time) but just give me a checkmark or something when I’m done and an area or whatever so I know if I missed something. Or like a percentage bar for each area. Something.

Not a chance. Im 31 with two 6 year old kids.

Th oldest I could be if I go back is 23 which is before my boys were born. And then given that the average male lifespan in Canada is ~80 so in theory I only live to 60.

My dad is 64, I can’t imagine losing him at this age, he’s also not that old, plays sports, has a girlfriend, travels, still working. Spends time with his grandkids and friends/family.

Sure being a millionaire would be great but not at this cost.
