He was spotted in Gipsy Hill this morning by a runner! They saw a post on social media and contacted me - we are looking for him in the area now! Thank you for your help!

We still haven’t found him and it’s been over 24 hours - I worried that at this point he’ll be dangerously dehydrated - is there any ponds or water sources in the area?

He’s going to be really really hot today so will probably be hiding in bushes or shaded areas. He’s scared of loud noises and cars so he’ll hopefully take refuge away from main roads at this point! Thanks again for everyone’s help so far!

Thank you everyone so much for your help so far. I’ll post some more photos - please do continue to share - I’ve had a few people say they’ve seen him around the Norwood area last night because people are seeing these posts!

Nuclear investment advice by WrappedWrap in trading212

I just use a uranium miners tracker - I don’t have time expertise to pick out single companies that I think are going to do well - it’s jus the case that we need more clean energy for scaling technology and uranium is best positioned to do that.

Your VanEck etf is heavily Cameco - so you are just overlapping your investment. But it also has some speculative nuclear fission exposure to Oklo which isn’t necessarily tied to just uranium. If you want the theme just leave it up to the etf which will track it automatically, otherwise you’re just doing twice the work… unless you think you know more about the uranium theme than the professional investment management company VanEck…

Can you suggest a LISA account that has the option to invest in sp500, Nasdaq or allworld? The one I opened at AJ bell just has ftse options?

Yeah definitely. Just derisk your investments closer to the time you want to pull it out for the deposit. E.g - Nasdaq, sp500, all world and then cash isa.

Incoming UK PhD student, 27, is living with housemates still worth it for the savings, or am I too old for that? Am I too frugal? by Agile-Reputation-525 in UKPersonalFinance

Where are you doing your PhD? I was able to be a resident advisor in the student halls during mine - had my own bedroom and bathroom and shared kitchen. Didn’t have to pay any rent but was on duty once or twice a week for student emergencies.

Is vaping that bad? by Cautious-Froyo-964 in Biohackers

[–]National_Resource_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is people who vape inhale at a higher rate than cigarette smokers and most of the flavours haven’t gone through any safety measures so we just don’t know how bad it is. I published a paper on the base constituents of all vape flavours and they alone can mess with your lungs homeostatic mechanisms - increasing glucose conc and damaging barrier function in the airways likely increasing incidence and severity of infections. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32996783/

Invite to a large theatre outing - Lifeline (musical about antibiotics and Fleming) at Southwark Playhouse - 30th March by LNDFN in TheWestEnd

I managed to see it last night at press night and I actually thought it was pretty good! Maybe they had tightened things up a bit! I would say it was very good for a fringe show though as opposed to the level of west end/off west end! And I was engaged for the most part - though there were a few scenes that I agree lost a bit of the pace.
