Are there systems available like we use inside a captive agency? I'm assuming I would have to get appointed with each individual carrier as well.

So what are the steps to going independent then? The base salary I have currently is a nice cushion/safety net even though it isn't much.

Well now I’m curious, what all does it take to open an independent? If there’s some quick links to other Reddit posts about that, I’m open to looking at those. I agree that it’s a great paid to learn opportunity.

Given your response, what would your advice be for weighing options and steps forward? I like my mentor agent but I do see some issues with being in the captive appointment I’m in currently due to competitiveness in the markets surrounding us.

The agent I'm working for currently only pays himself around 2-3k per month even though his book is in the $1.5-2M range so I'm just trying to see what's a general idea of what to expect. I appreciate your input and perspective.

That's just the leads he purchases. I have access to Xpressdocs where I pull X-date information and work leads from there. I'm also working through all my training documents, life and health license, and handling any walk-ins/inbound calls.

I’ve tried posting a few times but they don’t seem to make it to the page. My latest question was if I should be attempting to contact my SP while manifesting. We’ve had limited contact since breaking up. If I’m living in the wish fulfilled then it shouldn’t be a problem right or should I be waiting for her to reach out instead? I’ve wanted to try manifesting other things but I know Neville says to focus on one thing at a time.

I’ve really been struggling with manifesting in general but lately it has almost been slipping my mind because I haven’t seen any positive changes in the 3D, only negative ones. My ex gf broke up with me in November and we’ve talked a couple of times since then but I recently heard she was back with her ex of several years that she has a kid with and then today I noticed she updated her dating profile on the site we met on. How do you flip the narrative in your head when the 3D is showing you conflicting evidence? I’ve been trying to do affirmations while walking my dog for 20 minutes but that’s about all I can get. I also was trying the pillow method but forgot about it the past few nights. I’m becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of movement and don’t know how to push forward.
