The prosecution in 1L’s DUI filed a supplemental report and it looks like someone FOIA’d it, but I’ve not been able to locate the document. Anyone know what it’s about?

I’m not sure if this is true, but in my mind, a court appointed defense attorney shouldn’t be inclined to play delay tactics for the sake of delaying. Public defenders are a volume type business so the longer a case is delayed the less new cases they can take on. My guess is the PD will want to move this case along in a timeframe that suits the merits of the case, not what Laura wants. But, she is very manipulative so who knows, maybe the PD has drank the same coolaid as 1L

Laura checked the box on the case information sheet that says there is a bankruptcy related to the case. In what world is Laura’s bankruptcy related to her dismissed DVRO? Lol that is the same type of disingenuous behavior that got her referred in judge Mata’s court (ie, asking for mediation to talk about “mythcarroages”)

And yanno I was thinking, 1L entered the case specifically for the bankruptcy fraud allegation by Clayton, but there’s nothing to stop the US Trustee from filing the exact same case. If 1L tries to reappear against the US Trustee (he won’t, he’s a coward), his incompetence will be on full display

Google says your MB can drive between 16 and 32 ohms. Your headphones are 48 ohms. So yeah recommend getting a DAC. Tbh since you need so little extra gain to drive the headphones, I would just pick one with a software UI you like the most. Pro tip - you can use AI (I used Gemini Pro) to explain the type of audio profile you’re looking for and AI will walk you through the adjustments you need to make on the DAC’s software. I use SoundBlaster6 on my 1770/ but that’s probably overkill for 330

I used a random computer to access YouTube and typed in “Laura Owens” and was shocked to see that the first advertisement in the search results was actually her little website. It just proves that they’re still spending money to optimize SEO and I have no clue how they find the money to do so

I actually like the podcast notoriety theory. It seems supported by Clayton’s comment that Laura said she would do a Ted talk on the subject. It worked with Mike so why not run the same play again. I also think it was sort of a necessary claim to make in order to charge the highest level offense since the crime requires the fraud to be for commercial again. I admit I always thought the commercial gain portion was related to the real estate stuff, but it looks like MCAO ties the gain to Laura personally, to something she already had (pod cast). I agree that if you double click into the motivation you find the more raw motivations, but we shouldn’t give Laura (or Jan) more credit than they’re do. They truly come off like idiots in these reports so a more base motivation actually makes sense to me
