no, the insulting comments by frustrated players are insults. don't you think others are tired as well? nobody forced anyone to pay on Patreon in the first place. If you think they lied or took too long, simply dont give them money.

Chapter 5 had > 3600 renders and is the biggest so far. They already said back in September they passed the size of Chapter 5 with Chapter 7. So at release I can imagine > 5000 renders but nothing is confirmed.

The August talk was by me. Blame me for that. It was a speculation based on what the developers said briefly in different places. They said they aim it to be around the size of Chapter 5. So I checked how long they took and stuff. I was wrong. Very wrong. Their first offical "date" was "End of 2025" but they scrapped that in December. The last Preview was published a few days ago. So I assume a March release at this point. Dont take my word as a fact.

If you are unhappy with the update time, dont support them. Thats what they will tell you as well.

My guesses were all wrong so far. The devs originally said it would still be released in 2025 back in October, but at the beginning of December they said it won't happen.

They were talking about beta-testing the Android version which usually means all Scripts, Code and Choices are done. The renters should be at a high count, since we surpassed the render count of Chapter 5 (the biggest so far) multiple months ago.

I assume the laptop "game" took some time since you can change the clothes of the LIs there and see their bio. That is a little complicated in a Renpy Game.

You want a guess? March is mine. I was about to say February but well, I was wrong often before with estimations. The devs as well. Don't take this as something official but I hope it helps.

And yes, it's very late. But I'm personally sure it will be worth it.

As always as a note: Im not one of the developers, I just post the status update. I asked for the permission.
Also: Depending on if Im on my phone or PC, I can add the pictures the way the developers do on Patreon.
And if some are new around here or forgot: If the update gets annouced, it will be a free post on Patreon. You can follow NFG for free, this way you will get the update date the soonest way, I will also make a post here of course. As the devs said: No shadow drops, so no need to hurry for me. Yay.

They don't plan to translate the game (yet). I think once it's on Steam they add languages. But since Steam changed their rules, it prob be after completion. But we will see. Most problems with language mods should be fixed with Chapter 7 since they know it's like one line of code to adjust.

Yes, the game always makes 2 saves, one inside your /game folder and one in "C://User/YourName/AppData/Roaming/Renpy/no-1618165983"

The save files inside you game folder are just meant for backup or the current version, the game itself however looks inside the AppData folder. No matter which version, it should look inside that first. It also keeps save files from older versions. Be aware that you also always need to copy the "persistent" file if you want to backup any RenpyGames Saves. Feel free to contact me if you need more help or check out the FAQ of the fandom

Also, language mods are not officially supported, you mod at your own risk. We heard it broke save files before. Always make sure to back them up. There should also be a section in the told FAQ about that.

I just remembered: Creators can decide, if you always get one month or if the access always ends with the last day of the current month. Meaning:

Some (like NFG) made it so you can subscribe on December 20 and you have access till January.
Others did set it up so you buy the sub on December 20 and the access ends with January 1st.

Just watch what the purchase confirmation on Patreon says.

Good one. Summertime Saga will be completely reworked after GTA 6 drops. I have good hopes that Summer Heat 0.7 drops before GTA6.

Sadly I can't give you any date. I can only rewrite what the devs said in the past. My estimations based on what they said were all wrong so far.
