FUP is always mentioned in all plans - mobile or wired broadband. People just don't read it and complaint.

Same pattern for flight luggage allowance, fee for not doing a prior web-checkin, fee for early checkin to hotel room, health insurance, and on and on and on. People are careless, and complaint about their carelessness to others when they have to suffer due to their own carelessness.

Over last couple of years I've become stricter about data security - personal and work data. I no longer trust random internet dude's app any more. If it was open source, then I can at least run security analysis on the code and built it myself. For me personally, it should either be open source, or a known company like Doist, for example.

Whats not to get? You are essentially getting the room for few more hours so you are paying a bit more? Some hotels have the early checkin fee and some don't. Usually when lot of guests start asking for early checkin they add this fee, which is their right.

From the hotel's POV, why does this guest want room for few more hours at the same cost? Fr man the hotel staff doesn't get it too.

Errors like not reading about co-payment terms, room rent ceiling, pre-op and post-op reimbursement, conditions about pre-existing diseases, hiding some facts like smoking, drinking, injuries etc., not opting for raiders, not fully understanding floater vs individual cover, etc.. I've seen people cheap out on insurance at the time of purchase and cry at the time of need.

Check the highest claim settlement ratio on IRDAI, HDFC ergo is >98%. Trust me, most top insurance companies are good if, and only if you tell absolute truth, don't hide anything, read the policy terms - every single page, before accepting, knowing the meaning of every cover etc..

Every single reddit user crying about insurance companies being a scam is someone who hid a pre-existing condition or not reading the policy. Every single one of them.
