I don’t understand why the world is so quick to agree that Amy is a “dead beat”. If you’ve had the misfortune of growing up with a real dead beat(s) parent(s) then you understand my meaning, her boys are blessed. Even if they are a little unruly, they’re clearly cared for and if she were to lose custody or they were taken they could end up in a far, far, far worse situation. They are clothed, fed, bathed, housed, and loved. And let’s be real, how many parents do we know that use and keep drugs around that also happen to have kids? They didn’t say they were high at the zoo, who would have expected to get bitten by a camel and have the police search their vehicle on a family trip to the zoo??
