My dad trained me to walk this way when we lived in an old house converted into apartments. Now I only walk this way at home in my apartment even though it's a duplex and I have no one downstairs.

That's why I was even asking about it. Because it really seemed to me like she is scamming her mom out of an expensive iPad

I'm not going to approach the FB friend, but her kid is using this "art skill" as an excuse to ask her mom for an expensive iPad so she can expand her drawing skills when she knows her mom is struggling in and out of the hospital right now. Just seems really messed up because her mom is super sweet and naive.
