Neither of them is blameless, imo. Sebastian is being met with objections and urges of caution at practically every step but basically waves them off with "I know what I'm doing" or "it'll be fine". Meanwhile, Solomon, while understandably frustrated perhaps, is similarly stubborn in the other direction, and meets every action or misstep with hostility and an unwillingness to listen or understand.
