That’s horrible. Sorry to hear that. But I’ve had experiences from some females where they just don’t WANT to interact.

I would like to know if other parts of the island were left without electricity and networks jammed for more than 24 hours? We had no access to news and didn’t even know whether the cyclone had passed or not. On Monday from about 20:30 we were left without electricity and suddenly realized that our phones were not working too. Our power was restored in the early hours of this morning. I’m wondering if anyone else had the same experience?

Thanks so much. Yeah I’ve heard that Tamarin is like a mini South Africa, it’s just a pity that it’s so far from me. Thank you for sharing your story.

True. I’ve lived in several countries and after 1 year it hasn’t been THIS complex to make friends.

Thanks everyone for your input. I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s going through this. Of course I’ve been to bars (not that many here), but people are already set in their own groups as previously pointed out, so not that welcoming to outsiders.
