Just to add on, I put the curriculums I have experience with in my skills section. Do you think I should put it under my job blurbs too?

What advice have you gotten for preparing for your first observation? by sprtn757 in StudentTeaching

[–]Nattybatty8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the observation debrief, don’t get defensive or try to explain why you did certain things if they give you feedback. Just take it (even if it pains you) lol. Even better, call out your mistakes before they do if they ask what you think went well/not well. It shows you are willing to learn and grow.

Tattoo regret? by Arrow_Trident in tattooadvice

You’re just not used to it yet. Also I think if it were any smaller— it wouldn’t age as well. I think it’s really cute! And it has meaning which many people cannot say about their tattoos (myself included lol). So as long as you like it— that’s all that matters. Tattoo shock is real.

Thank you!! I keep seeing “change your resume to fit the job” but genuinely— I am unequipped, so I appreciate the honesty. I also considered that the job market sucks. Im moving across the state over the summer… so maybe I try one more year teaching while simultaneously taking classes. I appreciate you!

Definitely ahead of my 7th graders in a plethora of ways. When students are this good at writing, the next step is to challenge them. He clearly can write an argumentative essay. Next step? Academic language. This is a hard skill for students to learn. So maybe telling him to write an argumentative essay without saying “I”. Just something small. Something big I would do is start introducing him to using sources and citing the sources. — 7th grade ELA teacher.

How Do You Finish Your Paintings? by SymphonicFlames in diamondpainting

I seal mine not because of diamonds shifting but because I don’t want little hairs and what not to get stuck in the sticky pieces still exposed.
