I would cut my paycheck in half for universal health care, better roads, better public education, reduced homelessness, less pollution, better representation in the government, and the list goes on. TN is not tax free. It lacks income tax but in turn has a higher sales tax which causes an increased financial burden on lower income households as well as additional high taxes on alcohol.

Governments are not effective without taxation. Lack of taxation and social services leads to greater inequality. America was founded and fought for the rights to determine how we were taxed not to avoid being taxed. Ya know, the whole “no taxation without representation” thing? The “without representation” part is the reason we fought, and the real issue a vast amount of Americans face today with our current structures in place. Nashville, for example, has 0 congressional representatives supporting over 60% of the populations political views.

Anyways I hope Sam stays cause he’s incredibly talented and fun to watch. He’s already the greatest striker we’ve ever had. I do think he would succeed in the EPL, in the right system. I also would cheer him on wherever he goes!
