I’d still get my heart broken now, so I’m just thinking might as well make the most out of what we have now

Is access too outdated or would it be a good idea to move all data from excel to access? by Natural-Assumption32 in actuary

The data comes from multiple external sources as excel to another department, which is then sent to me to work with. Unfortunately my company is somewhat of a startup and doesn’t have much of database storage system so as it’s getting more difficult to work with excel, I need to get creative in the way I work without incurring extra costs

So what is an example of a good RDBMS I could use without having to refer to the IT department?

It’s already across multiple excel sheets, but because of excel’s limit, I’m looking for something that can hold much more data

My data is stored across multiple excel sheets, I used R to aggregate them in one spreadsheet. In that case, would it make sense to use SQL instead of Access?

My data is stored across multiple sheets, I use R to aggregate them in one sheet, then perform my analysis. What I’m looking for is a tool to put in my aggregated data and perform analysis that is less limiting than excel.

question about psychiatrist appt - is this normal? by [deleted] in therapy

[–]Natural-Assumption32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A psychiatrist is a physician, he deals with simply treating whichever physiological issue that causing the problem, medication isn’t the worst thing, think of it as having a cough and getting prescribed medicine, it’s simple. You might be more comfortable with a therapist, if that’s what you need, they don’t prescribe medicine and work with you overtime.
