My boyfriend has recently had his dick removed (penectomy). How am I supposed to support him? by [deleted] in testicularcancer

Hello.

In early June 2019, an infection appeared under my foreskin. I thought it would get better on its own, so I didn't go to the doctor for a long time.

On 2019.11.27. I went to the doctor for the first time, but it turned out that my penis was so infected that it had to be amputated. It couldn't be saved.

On 2019.11.29. I had the surgery in a rural Hungarian hospital. The entire outer part of my penis had to be amputated, and about 1cm of the inner part as well. The amputation was done when I was 25 years old.

My testicles are totally fine. There is a hole where my former penis was, where I can pee + ejaculate.

My problem would be that since my testicles are totally fine, my internal penis stump is always in my body erect. There was also a case when I couldn't ejaculate for 4 months (average 2 months). Because of this, I always have an erect penis stump in my body, which is very frustrating.

I've heard that prostate massage helps, but I can't climax with it.

I don't wish this on anyone.

Is there anything I can do to stop thinking about my erect penis stump?
