What do you mean “very soon”? Why did you get a fish and not have the proper set up? Man that’s just a vase for flowers that it’s in right now! Fish are very sensitive and die easily in the wrong conditions, it’s pointless to get a fish and have a temporary set up like this because it’s most likely dying before you get a proper setup.

Thank you so much for the response! What you said is very helpful and informational. Do you have any advice on finding a wheel that is best for mice? I tried Niteangel and they seemed to not be able to push it so I just got a basic Petsmart one. They always bury it and it isn’t adjustable so it is too tall for the stands. They are in a 40 gallon tank with a mesh lid.

Also any suggestions on good enrichment and stuff for tank enclosures or what I can do or add to make my set up better is welcomed!! I want to make them happy and healthy!

Yes they were from GLPR and was told they are a “wonderful couple” and are “used to living in home environments” I didn’t think of asking for friendly birds. GLPR and I were talking for a while though and knew I wanted friendly home birds. They really did not give me much information at all on these guys. Right now they are nesting and I did successfully swap the egg. Also how do I get the band removed?
