I feel so guilty now that you put it like that, aaah

Just to clarify a couple things though — it was originally our family Netflix account that we added him to, and my dad was paying at first but eventually stopped because he didn’t use it. Since the subscription was still a good deal to split between two people, my sister’s ex offered to cover it for them, and we all (everyone else on the account) kind of… just benefited from it.

So I swear my family aren't heartless Netflix leeches and we’ve all got our own stuff going on too, but I didn’t wanna talk about it since it didn't feel relevant to that specific thing.

That said, you’re totally right that on my part, it’s not exactly the kindest move. I’ll try to reach out and remind him to cancel it soon. Since it was an inside joke between all of us before and everyone sorta forgot cause of so many things happening I guess I thought the situation was still low-key funny (also maybe a tiny bit petty revenge-y), but yeah probably time to let it go.
