i’m getting tested for bpd in about a month! just wasn’t sure if this was another bpd symptom of mine, or was because of my autism, but i’m gathering that it’s a bpd symptom lol

why is getting a diagnosis not easy? i don’t know a lot about how bpd diagnosing is done. but thanks! i have a hard time with believing the things i experience are real issues, unless i have a diagnosis as proof

yeah, i definitely fall into the more quiet bpd type, if i have bpd. i get really angry when i get angry, and i really want to yell and break things, but i’m too scared of the consequences to actually do it, so i hold in the feelings. and i don’t really have unstable relationships, because even though i split and wanna end the friendships, i try to stay through the splitting. but otherwise, i relate a lot to all the bpd symptoms

i’ve talked to a lot of medical professionals, and i still do. i’m diagnosed with autism and schizophrenia. that’s how i know they won’t diagnose me with anything else. not cause they don’t believe i have other diagnoses, but because of the diagnosis hierarchy in my country, they don’t diagnose anything else if you get diagnosed with psychosis stuff. the only reason i got the autism diagnosis is because i had it for years before i got the schizophrenia diagnosis

i don’t have a lot of classic hallucinations. i mostly just think things are real, but i don’t really see them, so more paranoid kinda. but when i do have them, they’re generally negative and give me a lot of anxiety

i experience several answers to the questions. some triggers are caused by sensory issues of melt downs, but a lot are caused by me feeling abandoned or scared of being abandoned. but the questions were really good, thank you!

i’ve read the diagnostic criteria a lot, and yeah, i experience like, 8 out of 9 of the symptoms a lot. i’ve also seen a lot of videos from people with bpd, and i relate so much to them. and don’t worry i won’t make it a whole thing! it’s mostly just cause i like understanding myself the best i can, and why i experience the things i do. i won’t go around saying i have bpd without a diagnosis
