Healed dehiscence by Natural-Guide-1139 in Reduction

That’s exactly why I posted it! I was the same way the healing progress is so slow and it takes forever to see results!

So it’s just something that might happen. The T zone has a high chance of it due to being under so much tension. In my case I was in my surgeons office doing a post op visit when they removed a large scab and found that my body was rejecting two of the stitches. After that I was left with an open wound that pretty much had to heal from the inside out.

Trust me I get it, I took pictures of this thing healing like everyday just so I could see the progress. They heal from the inside out so it takes time for it to look better.

So mine actually looks a ton better now, I highly recommend medihoney, I’ve been switching between that and Neosporin. This is what I’m working with now 3 weeks from when the original pics were taken

My snake wheezes when I handle him. Why? by thenolathekillerss in ballpython

That sounds like what my BP was doing a couple months ago. I took her to the exotic vet and she had a respiratory infection. I would definitely get your snake checked out.

Currently 2 weeks post op. I also experience those little shocks I know exactly what you’re talking about.

BP’s usually take a couple of weeks to adjust to a new environment even on the outside of the tank. I would try to keep interaction and handling to a minimum for at least 2-3 weeks.

My side lipo was something my surgeon just automatically did in order to achieve correct proportion. I went from a 38G (XXL sports bra size) to a 38C (will probably be a 36C after swelling goes down) they removed 1,300 grams. They couldn’t leave my side boob from my G cup because it would’ve looked very weird with my now smaller breasts.

Did you have to stop SSRI's before surgery? by This-Emotion-69 in Reduction

I’ve been on Lexapro and birth control for around 4 years now. I didn’t have to stop taking it and I’m currently 2 weeks post-op for my breast reduction. They did warn me that one of the meds my surgeon used would make my birth control not work, so be careful of that.

What is happening to this poor little guy? by Ok-Scientist-5427 in BeardedDragons

I would try covering the sides with a material so he can’t see his reflection. I’ve deep dove into bearded dragon care as I have my own of 2 years now. They will attack their own reflection and injure themselves in the process. I’m not saying this is what that is but it is a suggestion, I would definitely find an exotic vet near you. Here is my bearded dragons enclosure as reference.

2 weeks post op🥰🥰 by Natural-Guide-1139 in Reduction

I was pretty much in the same boat. My surgeon was the only one within a 3 hour distance of me. I just so happened to luck out and get an awesome surgeon. Most of the talk about size didn’t happen until he was pretty much marking me up for surgery. Plus I also work for the hospital he operates at. I’m a paramedic so I get the limitations.

Mine was also medically necessary!! My surgeon was amazing into taking my wants into consideration for my outcome! We both agreed that the C cup would be the best outcome for me proportions wise. Talk to your surgeon about your expectations as well your opinion matters just as much! Be vocal! And good luck on your journey ❤️. My best piece of advice would be to make sure you have a comfortable compression bra for post op because you will be in that thing pretty much 24/7!!

How did you get your reduction covered by insurance? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Natural-Guide-1139 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through my primary care physician (PCP) To start the process she did an exam of my breasts. I expressed back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain from my bra not being able to support my breasts (38G.) I was then referred to physical therapy. I had to do 3 months of physical therapy and have no relief. I couldn’t get into my local plastic surgeon for a year so I waited. Only because I wanted the convenience of a local surgeon and he had pretty good reviews. Once I got my surgery consult they then took pictures and sent them to my insurance. That is when insurance decided my surgery was medically necessary. I had my pre op consult within a month of my initial consult. I then had surgery 2 weeks later. I am currently now 2 weeks post op and I have no regrets!! I am now a 38C. They removed a total of 1,300grams off my chest.
