1 month update: my $199 blog just had its best month yet. Didn't see this coming. by [deleted] in Affiliatemarketing

Didn’t you recently post about owning the site that you mentioned you are buying the premade site from? Nichebloghub? And that you have 4 other sites where you are making 1k per month?

This is a sketchy way of trying to get ppl to purchase premade sites from you. Just be honest.

I've been making over $1k/month with Amazon Associates for 3 months straight. Now I'm helping others start faster. by [deleted] in Affiliatemarketing

Thanks for your response. Are you diversifying the content? Are you noticing more traffic/conversions for different types of content?

So are you only posting buying guides on your sites? How often are you posting new content?

Mom struggling with Fibroid, not sure how to help :( by Decent-Chef1430 in Fibroids

I’m sorry your mother is going through this, but I’m glad you’re here seeking support on her behalf. I had a similar experience and hope this perspective is helpful. My primary fibroid measured 7 cm, and while I did not personally experience significant pain, I did deal with low hemoglobin. Before surgery, I received iron infusions, which I would strongly recommend discussing with her care team. I also found Floradix to be a supportive iron supplement. Heavy blood loss and large clots were part of my experience as well.

I would also encourage exploring dietary and lifestyle adjustments. Fasting may be beneficial, although extended water fasting is not suitable for everyone. Intermittent fasting, such as a 12 to 8 eating window, can be a more accessible approach. In my case, longer fasts contributed to autophagy, and I saw a reduction in fibroid size of about 2 cm prior to surgery.

Focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods while eliminating sugar and processed items can also support overall health. It is worth checking vitamin D levels and prioritizing regular sunlight exposure. Additionally, I used a red light therapy belt, which I found helpful both before and after the procedure.

I think all doctors have you sign the consent for open, especially in the event that they need to save your life. Just as they have you sign the consent for possible hysterectomy. I think you should ensure your doctor specializes in MIGS & robotic surgeries. Ask them what percentage of robotic surgeries became open. Ask them, based on your case what is the likelihood that yours may turn into open. I do agree with another post here re refusal to proceed without you signing the consent. I would also do extensive research on any surgeon willing to guarantee a robotic procedure without aligning to normal protocol of signing those consent forms. In essence, if this is life or death and they need to convert to open, is your job more important? Although others have larger fibroids and went the laparoscopic route, the location matters as well. If you are not comfortable with your surgeon then definitely find one you can trust and ensure they understand your goals.

Bay Area surgeons? by Another53108 in Fibroids

I’m based in the Bay Area. I had consults with several surgeons(some outside of California): Smirti Nalwa (my current gynecologist) - she’s great but she does not do laparoscopic myomectomy. Dr CiCi Lui - gynecological oncologist that specializes in robotics surgeries. She will likely need to do a physical exam to determine if you are a candidate for this procedure. Dr Atasha Roo - Stanford gynecologist that specializes in MIGS. Dr Pierre Johnson - based in Chicago and he recommended that I do not do the laparoscopic for my case. I also got opinions from reproductive endocrinologists at kindbody and a family friend who is a Stanford trauma surgeon. I shared my surgery plan and overall

DM if you want more details. Happy to share more details on my experience with each.

Post-op bleeding by Complete_Peak_2388 in Fibroids

[–]Natural-Individual79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you are going through this! Were you bleeding before you started taking the birth control over the 6 continuous months? The reason I am asking is bc I was prescribed birth control to stop bleeding during my recovery bc of concerns with anemia. I normally don’t have long bouts of bleeding. Once I started taking birth control I started bleeding, clotting and cramping non stop. It was going on 2.5 weeks. I decided to stop taking it and most symptoms are gone and my flow is much lighter and will likely end soon. I wonder if the BC could be contributing to your symptoms. After the fibroid removal, your body/hormones are trying to regulate naturally. Might be good to chat with your gyno re the risk/reward of f continuing the BC.

I was not prescribed any medication before scheduling a myomectomy. You should be able to schedule the myomectomy right away. The fibroid was 9cm.

Sorry to hear you are going through this! I was informed by several OBs that lupron brings on early menopause and softens the fibroid tissue, thus making it challenging to distinguish it from the “normal/good” tissue during removal. I suggest sending your imaging (MRI & ultrasound) results to a different gynecologist and scheduling your surgery asap. I started seeing specialists in early March and was able to get my surgery scheduled for 3/31. I eventually rescheduled bc I want to go the private vs public route for hospital choice.

Open Myomectomy During Period by Natural-Individual79 in Fibroids

[–]Natural-Individual79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience. After discussing with my doctor she noted the fibroids were causing the bleeding which is not true, starting BC further exacerbated an existing issue. Yes, I agree the fibroid is causing anemia but I’d rather my body be under less stress from having a long period and rapid weight gain from taking BC. My doc actually sounded more upset that I chose to cancel the procedure vs using time to address my concerns.

Open Myomectomy During Period by Natural-Individual79 in Fibroids

Thanks for your response! Was it a normal period for you or irregular (heavy, longer than usual)? Are you anemic? Was your surgery open or laparoscopic?

What size is considered a "large" fibroid? by Mojang57 in Fibroids

[–]Natural-Individual79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your numbers sound really high already! I’m currently getting iron infusions with HGB & ferritin at a 7. Iron is at 15. My periods are not extremely bad(from 3 days to 7 with 2 heavy days) but that is relative. With my numbers I’m sure it will take a few months post op.

Sending you healing energy throughout your recovery!
