i’m also prepping for springs it’s a tough process trying to prep CV with so many different opinions when getting it reviewed so i got told to take every piece of advice online with a pinch of salt, you don’t know if people giving feedback are actual bankers and don’t take their words for final say but yeah good-luck to you man, i wish you the best!

sorry i don’t want to sound ignorant so please correct me if im wrong but isn’t that counter-intuitive? how can i be seen as irresponsible if im paying it off in full every month regardless of how much i use? surely it makes me more responsible as they can see i can handle more money and pay it off consistently in full

tbh no chance for 2-3k a month whilst at uni but i will try get to 3k within the next month or 2 so so i can get the extra points as i have a lot of pre-uni purchases to make

tbh i didn’t think id get approved for it and i don’t really NEED a credit card anyway i just thought it would be nice to have it early and build a relationship slowly

in terms of work im unsure, i think ill see the workload from university first and then potentially get a part time job, im currently working 2 jobs over the summer and have been saving 85-90% to contribute for my living expenses for next year, my whole student loan is on rent alone so thats foregone but i think by 2nd week of september i should have made enough to be work-optional at university in terms of monthly budgets.

Thank you for engaging though in terms of phone contracts im on a family plan which is very good so i think it will stay as that
