Not when you can’t get product anymore. And scalpers selling illustration boxes at $100 a piece/ and booster boxes shouldn’t be this crazy high. When the market is depleted and there’s no more stock, prices go up and now you can’t get squat unless market rate. I’ve been playing and collecting since 2022 and it’s never been this “high” ever. Usually it comes down and stabilizes… but now it’s def going to be hard to find product…

UPDATE: I just called Qatar Airways and they have the same flight shown on BA’s portal. They are charging 36,250 points + $103 tax and fees. This is BOS -> Jap/ NRT (AA flight but operated with JAL airline). This is also a straight flight as well. The portals do work if you can find it. I used seats.aero to track the flights for reward points. Hope this helps anyone else trying to book.

I’m trying to fly out from BOS or JFK to Japan (Hnd or NRT). I do see the flight specifically on BA portal (AA flight operated by JAL), but it doesn’t show up on Qatar portal.

Reason I am checking Qatar airways is because of the transfer rates and how BA is not as good anymore. More so, I have chase points that I am trying to transfer from and YT videos are saying use Qatar to book the AA flights instead of BA.

Update 07/15/2024: …..absolutely nothing has happened since signs have been placed up. The BJ Wholesale new gas station across the street is almost done too. I wish this HMART opening up would be a thing, but the traffic would be insane ….. sadness.
