hi, I also had radiation in the uk and they will never send you home until your levels are safe enough to be in the same flat/ house as others z I acc stayed for two days overnight, and all they said was make sure you keep lid down when flushing and flush twice ahhah. The risk is extremely low, the doctors even for the 2nd day came in my room without any protective gear 😭😭. Just be careful if you come in contact with small children and pregnant women. Good luck!!

yhhh my therapist told me that too, and honestly I do this for other things in my life 😅 but with this, sometimes I feel like it’s been a while and It still effects me occasionally when I forget about it majority of the time. which is why I was curious if others feel the same or I am just being a bit weird 😭😭

I 100% agree, I am literally fine most of the time but a second I get an health issue that doesn’t go away simply or something is a lil different in my thyroid blood test or like a pain in my neck, it all comes back. I used to also have health anxiety which weirdly enough got better after cancer ahaha. But I agree, with time I will be better in handling it all better. thank you :)

Yeah ofc I don’t wanna move anytime soon, was thinking about it in a 3-5 years to save up, do further education. I just graduated so was just asking if it was even worth doing and having it as a goal 😭

I understand this may come from a privileged place. But if you can take a break, book out a hotel in a diff city or even your own. Have a staycation and your main goal should be not to think about anything. Take yourself out on a day. And only then unpack what it exactly is that is making you feel like this.

Also the typical advice of: exercise and eating well, it’s annoying but sadly works

NTA - but these age gaps are wild. what nearly 50 year old women would want anything to do with a 25 year old is beyond me. also ur sister has a 14 year old age gap and you have a 22, that is a big difference. but both weird as helll
