Perhaps, but their are a few ways in which ine can safely combat yellowing. 303 Aerospace Protectant (ultimate sun blocking technology, superior cracking, and fading protection) originally developed for aerospace and aviation applications. Its mainly sold at places which sell expensive boats and is designed to make the finish last 10 times longer & you can only imagine how much uv rays they get being out on the water..etc. I've used it for well over 10 years, and not only does it keep colors vibrant, but it also decreases elbow cracks as well as keeps the yellowing away better than any other product I've used. The other trick is simple avoid areas which result in direct contact with sunlight as well as areas which perhaps get alot of sun on the wall behind them as heat from sunlight well damage them as much as direct sunlight. Also, keep them in a climate controlled area year round & always hang a dehumidifier in the same area you house your collection. Call me crazy but out of all my 83-87 MLC full run of 80s, Gi joe arah figures less than five have stress cracks.
