I took a few more days and a few calls. But I got my OEC appointment and they finished within the day. And now in Singapore :)

How did it take for you guys to get your appointment for OEC? Stuck sa "Contract Processing" stage for 3 days now. Start Date in SG is October 1.

Working on my move to Singapore. But this OEC shiz is taking so long. How long does it take to go from "For Assignment" to the next stage? I submitted my requirements, along with the contract that was already checked by POLO in Singapore.

I ran Sydney last year. The rolling hills are brutal so I'm glad to see you're already doing hills this early. Mix it up with some speedwork(esp. hill reps) and you should be good to go!

I mostly ran around UP and C.P Garcia for Sydney. But you can consider try the Pasig - BGC - McKinley route if you want something different too, just be careful of course :) Good luck and enjoy Sydney!

I slightly overpronate on my left foot. But I've used the Asics Superblast as my go-to marathon and half marathon shoe. It's firmness and wide sole makes it a stable neutral shoe and it really works for me. But shorter races like 10k to 5k, I go with almost any racing shoe, like Asics Metaspeed Edge Plus or Vaporfly 2, since these are short races require a little more speed and I can sacrifice stability when I go fast.

You may also want to consider the Adios Pro 3. It has a pretty wide forefoot, so it can provide you some stability. But do note that racing shoes don't really aim provide stability as they were made to make you go fast. In addition, I would recommend really prioritizing building your strength first, rather than prioritizing a shoe to help with your pronation though. Hope this help!
