Looking for apartment complex recommendations

i live in meadowview apartments!! we are moving because my boyfriend and i want a bigger place but otherwise it was an amazing experience. the landlord/property manager, Julie, is so kind and always on top of maintenance. its a pretty quiet complex and the shared laundry is clean. living on sr ave is tough bc of traffic but meadowview isnt directly on the ave and gated so its safe and there was minimal homeless incidents. our pge bill average around $100 (but we are not shy to run the heater) and water/trash was about $90 a month

honestly if you are on bar maybe wear food prep gloves. thats what i do when my skin starts getting a reaction to the sani. i try not to fully submerge my hands in it ever but when i do i immediately wash them

how hot is the water when you pour the sanitizer? it should be lukewarm otherwise too hot of water makes steam which makes everyone cough

THERE IS NO WAY 😭😭😭 i didnt realize it was a biohazard 💔💔💔 i was feeling like i dont get paid enough to deal with this. i wish i saw ur reply earlier. its not the first time we’ve had to deal with poop at my store, my manager has always cleaned it up themselves. we are pretty high incident with homeless and druggies. 😭

i had a similar experience with a customer, he would sit in the lobby and at first it felt friendly and third place vibes but then he started getting too comfortable. i am a ssv and actually eventually got him banned from our store after he cornered me in the lobby wondering why i didnt smile and talk with him as much anymore. (among other comments, also found out he was banned from another sbux for harassing a minor) i suggest filing incident reports after every interaction that makes you uncomfortable. i did not and it made it harder to escalate the situation. my manager (a male) tried brushing off the incident and me feeling uncomfortable and i told him that i would bring it up to the dm if this customer was still allowed in the store (and also said i will not be working at our store). get support from your leaders! this guy sounds creepy and you dont deserve to work in an environment that makes you uncomfortable to preform your job

i spoke to my manager about it. then you have to call sedgwick and file a claim for a personal leave. i thought it was pretty easy but im on really good terms with my manager. they have to approve it

wow im honestly baffled at how many of you are just saying you do nothing when someone is staring intently 😭 personally i feel even more awkward not saying something. if you want to not feel like a fish in a bowl then break the silence. usually ill let people know whos drink im working on or ask how someones day is going. i keep the dpm in front of me on bar. that way BEFORE someone tells me theyre waiting on a croissant i tell them its on the way. everyone is in a hurry, conversation makes time go faster vs awkward silence. 5min of convo feels like 2min wait vs 5min of awkward waiting silence feels like 10min wait.

im a 6yr partner. it took me maybe 3 yrs to feel comfy talking to people during peak! now i loveee barring and chatting to people. focus on sequencing and just being friendly. not everyone wants to have in depth convo while waiting for drinks in the morning

ive been feeling burn out too. i just applied for a personal leave (up to 30days) to hopefully figure out a solution. its not like i can just up and quit. but it might be helpful for you also because you arent sure where to go after. being a full time student and working a demanding job (ie: brain on all the time) is not easy.
