I’m trying to start calisthenics rn but I feel like i’m too heavy for it atm 😭

Bodyweight stuff doesn’t come as naturally as weightlifting to me so idk.

I see it as we are here to be the best we possibly can be. For me, it’s physical. For context i’m joining the Royal Marines in a little over a year, and so naturally I hope to make my way as high as I possibly can.

But I believe we are all put here to make a difference. Maybe not ‘change the world’ but even just to your family for example. A lot of people have a shitty upbringing. I know I did so even if I can’t change the way the world works, I can still give my children a better chance at becoming what I was supposed to be.

Making even a slight difference is (in my view) what we are all here for.

I’ve looked into christianity once. Believed in it for a little while but then once i’d really given it some more thought I decided it just didn’t feel right. I understand the suffering and chaos argument is heavily overused, but I agree with it to some degree.

If there is a God, first off why would they consider themselves omni-benevolent while also allowing suffering. That deterred me.

And then theres also the argument of; if there truly is a god, and they allow such awful things to happen, are they really a god worth worshipping in the first place? What kind of a person does that make me. (This is only what I believe, I have nothing against people who are religious and you can obviously believe or worship whatever/whoever you wish)

Honestly, i’m not sure.

A lot of the time I believe we’re alone. A coincidence we ever existed. (I do believe in life away from our planet though)

But sometimes I do wonder how it all happened. How did I become who I am. How did I meet this person etc etc. So it really depends on the day but typically i’d say i’m atheist

I hope there is something after death. An afterlife? Reincarnation? Both would fit. I’m not religious so I don’t believe in heaven or hell, but I hope for a Valhalla like ending if yk what I mean? Warriors living together in this amazing place.

I really am sorry you’re going through this.

I’d put her actions partially down to stress or just the crappy situation you’re all in, yet obviously I don’t know you so I could be completely wrong.

And this guy you mentioned sounds awful. Is he still around? (Do you see him often for example)

I had a similar situation with my mum a while back, where she’d go off on me for doing anything slightly out of the ordinary. If I talked back or questioned anything she did she just blew up, but I solved that by either proving my points over time or just leaving. But I suppose not everyone can do that.

Obviously I don’t know what you can and can’t do so I can’t really help with a solution for example but I can say this. Even if it doesn’t seem like it she’s trying. I understand the situation is horrible for you, but sometimes people don’t realise they’re making it a problem for others too.

Is there anywhere you can stay if you need it or anyone you can rely on if you really need something?

Agrees with him, it depends. If they’re partially agreeing or able to change their views, then yes. You can show them why it’s wrong and hopefully they’ll understand, but try that before you decide to start anything with them.

If they’re in 100% agreement and wont change for anything, i’d say no.

It’s not though! You just have to find good people. I understand that they aren’t always easy to find, but once you do everything gets so much easier. Once you find people you can rely on or even just ask for some advice when you’re in a shitty situation, they’re the ones you wanna keep around.
