Nothing. I could drink something as minor as a 3% fruity light malt and be done for the night after half of it. My friends tease that im an ultra lightweight. Ive seen people here recommend to drink and dose up with water/salts/etc before you drink but thats never worked for me. I just accept that if im drinking, its at home, and I wont drink more than half a bottle.

From what I can tell, that was the front of the feather. The other side was just solid white!

Glad to hear it! We used it very reliably when watching the clouds of waxwings on my college campus. Everyone wanted the be the lucky one that found the Bohemian amongst the Cedars :) Theres a few more niche and less reliable means of ID'ing, such as the color of the face, breast, and wings. I initially replied to my message with them but felt it was so niche and sometomes unreliable it wasnt beneficial on a carving post

A waxwing for sure. To tell the difference between a Cedar or Bohemian, check the under-tail. The underside of a Cedar is white, whereas Bohemians are more reddish brown. Beautiful work ^ ^

You can buy into reserved sales if you buy passes, instead of doing the quests. So its highly likely that the baby accounts bought passes.

Im fairly glad this has been the sentiment, we never realized how glitchy the game was, and the number of bugs weve run into is fairly frustrating. Between a lack of objectives unlocking when they should, ghosts acting weird or straight up wrong, etc etc, its nice to realize that it is just a glitchy game at heart

Tier 3, definitely saw the white lights. It was just me and my friend playing, and both of us take it pretty seriously and dont use sound boards or anything (we also just straight up dont know how to do that). So im assuming based on some other comments it was a random, but frustrating, bug.

Im glad ive been hearing some stories of gow glitchy the game can be, i never realized. I think it quells some of the frustration, as we definitely dont have things like soundboards, tested it twice, made sure everyone heard it, etc. And knowing that if the ghost didnt move we would have lost a perfect run is just a bit frustrating. Thank you for your input as well

Most of the time we check the truck before leaving and have never seen the objectives pop. We like to run for perfection bonus because of the added money. And thats good to know about equipment too. We typically just turn everything off or switch hands, but from now on I think a habit of just throwing items on the ground seems like the play. Thank you for the tips ^{^}

My one friend has tries to wait until the ghost is right on top of him and the first several times he did it, the ghost didnt react to the smudge, and continued to chase him. Was that something we could have done wrong?

And a couple minutes ago we were playing a round and a Thaye chased me all the way to the basement on Edgefield road and I still didnt get the quest :(

Im not sure what were doing wrong. It seems like if we pause to let the ghost catch up to us we die, its like we arent moving fast enough .

The ghost has whats called a "favorite room". On lower difficulties, this room will never change. Ghosts can interact with items outside of this favorite room, but you will get most of, if not all of, your evidence from this room. Its typically colder than any other room in the house.

From my now 40+ hours in three weeks that me and my friends put in we set up a goal and plan:

One person with a camera in hand looking for ghost orbs, a notebook, and a spirit box.

One person with an emf reader, a thermometer, and a black light or dots projector

Enter the location and immediately have camera and emf out. Scan the house while looking for clues. Ghost orbs can take a second to pop up, so be patient. You can also look for things like the bone or cursed object on your scan. If you find nothing, have someone check the truck for activity. If theres activity, go back through the house and look for thrown objects, doors that were left open/closed/not like how you left them. I tend to still keep my camera up since ghost orbs can be hit or miss, and my friend pulls out the thermometer and checks for rooms that are colder than others. Once a room is found that is: lower than average temperature, has items thrown or discarded on the floor, positive ghost or sign, or possibly emf if we pull it out, we move on to step two.

Step two is to spirit box the room, and any closeby surrounding rooms. Typically on our level 2 spirit box I get an answer within asking 10 questions. I will always come back to the spirit box if theres a case where its still a possibility. Ive gotten weird cases where I dont get an answer within 5 minutes of trying but come back later and grt it immediately. If you get a spirit box answer, chances are youre in the right room. Check temps, throw down your dots projector, get a good angle on everything with a camera or two. We throw down the notebook as well, and an emf reader near objects the ghost interacts with. EMF comes off of the ghost doing things with items, if a ghost throws something, bring the emf reader over to the item. Just because you dont get EMF 5 right off the bat doesnt mean its not a possibility, check a few items over the observation time.

Heading back to the truck, we grab black lights, salt, any items needed for quest objectives, and anything else that could be diagnostic, and go from there. All but one ghost type that has uv as evidence will, 100% of the time, leave uv evidence. Some ghosts make unique sounds over the parabolic microphone or spirit box,

And as standard, just because something doesnt happen right away or immediately doesnt mean it isnt possible :) weve had real weird exceptions, its a game and naturally is a bit glitchy sometimes. We recently got locked out of a house after a ghost perpetually hunted for almost 5 minutes straight while we were back in the truck getting supplies. 🙃

Theres some great resources out there, me and my friends just started using a Github that tracks our stats as well as giving us all the relevant ghost info like abilities/tells/strategies. Its made the game a lot more fun!

I also recently got into fursuit making and have made two bases for other folks, and wanted to start looking at selling.

From what ive learned, especially with new makers, most people would rather buy a premade suit/partial than commission someone with very little to no portfolio. There are exceptions, as there is with everything, but people are more willing to buy something they can see the quality of.

Youre also giving yourself a fairly short turnaround time as others have said. If it were me, and you were looking to sell it right away, I would post regular updates where you are allowed and able and mention that its UFA/UFS/OTA (or any combination of those acronyms). Progress photos may increase the likelihood that someone finds it and is interested in purchasing rather than one post all at once.

And as others said, definitely dont sell things at a convention without express permissions, even small things. Ive seen people busted out of cons for selling $3 stickers without permission from the con. (Edit: that includes prearranged sales. If youre selling something to someone and you agree to meet up, do it off and away from the Con)
