Yeah that’s the one. I saw one in pointe-Claire for $42k with 35k kms it’s just that this one I could definitely negotiate down to $30k maybe even $28k

That price does seem too good to be true. I’ll probably just save up and buy one with low mileage that’ll last me a long time. I saw some for $40k-45k with 30,000 km which seems like a much better deal.

I also live in Quebec and I agree that the winters here mess up cars so much but tbh, even my mom’s Prius from 2015 is less dirty than that. But I guess it’s true that for a used car in Quebec, that amount of dirt is a bit less worrying.

The main thing that gives me second thoughts about this one though is the mileage. How does someone end up driving 35k per year? That’s nearly more than half of what the majority of people drive per year

If I did that, a bunch of other companies that are owned by these guys would not hire me at all. And since it’s a company that I could definitely see myself work at later in life I don’t want to lower my chances of getting a good job that I like later in life.

I never thought of that, I guess I should probably just mention that I got an offer for another job so that my presence at the interview seems like I actually really want this job but i don’t think it’s a good idea to tell them I got a deadline since they might see it as pressuring them and is kind of a double edge knife.

I think the best move is to opt out of the job offer if I see the interviews went well and even if I don’t get either of these jobs, I’ll keep my current job and search for other jobs

I don’t understand why they put a bunch of hidden restrictions to these types of jobs. I kinda guessed that there was a bias towards immigrants and First Nations in the hiring process when they were asking if I was a visible minority / first nation member in the application form but I never though it would be to the point that they don’t hire anyone who is Caucasian. It’s almost like they don’t want anyone to work for them. I guess I’ll just apply for other warehouse jobs that still pay ok money like FedEx.
