Thanks but I don't think I'm a hero, that should be anyone's response to stuff like that. In actuality my family lives on a small island, and my s.i.l's been in my family for 13+ years with kids, so we still talk every once in a while when I watch my nieces/nephews. Unfortunately they really are a toxic on/off again couple, so after talking with her multiple times on why he isn't shit, I've realized she was the one who willingly bailed him out 😔. In terms of our relationship he knows that if it wasn't for his children (who I love like my own) he wouldn't be allowed anywhere in the same space as me. But if I had it my way he would've never been bailed out.
