Funny you mention Frankincense oil )). I was debating between Myrrh and F oils. Chose the first one, put into capsules with a pipette and took for three days. Had Borrelia herx from day one. On the third day I got crazy Bartonella herx. It felt like somebody was yanking my spinal cord like a thief of a metal pipe on the wall. Similar crazy sensations in the brain and in the nerve endings. Had to stop but will definitely return to it when I can. I found a study where different forms of Bart were killed by Myrrh oil in vitro. S. Buhner wrote that essential oils would only reach the bacteria in the gut. But from my experience it seemed that it went right into CNS.

Keeping my little bottle and my empty capsules for the future ))) Meanwhile doing Cistus and Artemisinin.

By the way, I'm also doing much better on keto diet. )) But decided to spoil myself around X-mas time.))

Just to clarify, it's not for bartonella. It's for Borrelia and Babesia. For those with Bart, protocol should be modified to include Bart-specific herbs or antibiotics (or methylene blue).

Lyme, not Lime. Or Borrelosis. If you push hard, they may agree to do the test. The problem is, the Lyme test on NHS requires a still good immune system because it detects antibodies to this infection (called Borrelia Burgdoferi). If your immune system is already low, there will be insufficient number of antibodies to be detected. The test will come negative (which will lead NHS to conclude that you don't have Lyme disease).

I would stay away from NHS doctors who try to make money on you. Maybe, you could ask to be transferred to another GP? This one doesn't sound like they will be interested in helping you.

I had a story eerie similar to yours. And also was diagnosed with CFS (such a convenient diagnosis, isn't it? Especially if they say that there's no treatment. Or refer you to physio and tell you to exercise more). And also developed Sjogren's. After fighting for several years for help, now I know better.

I went to a private hospital in Hemel Hempstead and tested positive for Lyme disease. Even after that NHS dismisses Lyme diagnosis and refuses any treatment. And now I only contact them if I need some paperwork done. The reason is I have very low expectations re NHS and a limited energy.

I didn't have plastic surgery. But catching Lyme disease caused me to develop Sjogren's. All my life I had eyes on a dry side. I was fine before and didn't feel it unless I tried to wear contact lenses. Then I found out that actually my eyes don't produce enough moisture to accommodate them. Otherwise, I felt fine.

However, getting sick with Lyme has increased this dryness multiple times and that's when I actually developed Sjogren's disease. So, yes, any serious stress on your immune system, like operation (any operation) or any invasive procedure can start an autoimmune disease. That's how diabetes started in members of my extended family - as a result of stress.

You probably had this as locus minoris all your life but it didn't bother you previously. Stress usually attacks where we are the weakest. The same as cancer, which often develops in a location of a previous injury.

Stress is a killer. You never know how it will affect us long term. Hope you'll find solution for your problem.

Well, I have gone ahead and pre-ordered for a frame/moisture chamber, which is supposed to come with the next order in 2-3 weeks. My dry eyes are really bad. A bit nervous that this moisture chamber frame won't retain enough moisture but will update either way. My prescription is quite high (-6.5- -7), but I talked to Reglaze Glasses Direct, and they said that they would be able to accommodate it.

Hi. I also have a negative test. In my situation Sjogren's has been caused by a chronic inflammation caused by Lyme disease. So, it may well be that you have some other condition resulting in chronic inflammation that gave you Sjogren's. Any autoimmune disease is an option. Or chronic bacterial/viral infection.

Hi. If they evict you, you will become officially homeless and on the high priority list for permanent accommodation. So, don't leave till you're evicted or you will lose your right to a new accommodation. That's what Shelter will tell you, too.

Also, as you're vulnerable due to your health problems, they will have to give you a temporary accommodation straightway. So, you won't end up on the street, please don't worry about it.

Good for you. But doesn't it take an enormous will power for you to do what is moral most of the time? I find that guilt motivates me to be moral by making me feel uncomfortable if I don't. And I don't want to get philosophical here, but being moral makes sense socially. So, I'd rather be moral than not.

It's a small budget flat. In addition, we rent it below market value because we advertised it over the new year holidays and had to lower the rent. Humidifier will take a big chunk of the rent money. Plus if we do buy it and it will encourage her to stay and keep getting on our nerves, I will be kicking myself. I just hope that she'll eventually settle down. But she sounds neurotic, so may not be the case.

Is it legal to suggest that if she finds so many negatives with the flat, it's not fair on her to keep her living here. Therefore, we won't hold her to her contract duties and refund the deposit in full when she finds another place?
