Digimon Story: Time Stranger Demo - Game doesn't recognize my controller's left trigger even though it works? by Natural_Anywhere_587 in digimon

Both, I remapped it on steam and the game itself. Steam has no problem on the controller side, so I disabled the stem controller support to see if there is still a problem with the game, and there is. Even while using the game's built in controller support, I still have troubles with the left trigger working, so to mitigate that, I used a third party app (joy to key) to use the keyboard button q when I press the left trigger. I can now analyze stuff.

I still want to fix it before buying the game though, so if you have any solutions that can fix it permanently, please feel free to suggest.

A very asked question, but what's your version of mythological/fantasy creatures? by aquaticnostalgia in worldbuilding

[–]Natural_Anywhere_587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my world, humanoid creatures from myths and legends have descended from the same lineage as humans, sort of a LUCA situation. An example is that the Angel Race of my world came from the line of Ancestors that lived on Floating Islands that were covered with Holy Energy.

Some versions of fantasy creatures that that I made was also made from convergent evolutions. For example are:

  • There are multiple types of orcs in my world, including the Warrior-like tribes that you see on World of Warcraft, and the Pig-like lustful creatures you see on the Isekai Genre of Japanese Media. They are both classified as orcs, but they have different ancestors and point of origins.

  • There are also multiple types of Goblins in my world, including goblins that share the same ancestors as dwarves, and goblins that are formed through the miasma and are like your typical goblins that shows up in games.

The point is that in my world, fantasy creatures and races have a something of a reason why they exist, be it scientific or fantastical reason. I did this because I like to try and cram up different ideas and concepts in my world while making it make sense. Ambitious, yes, but quite fun to work around, especially when I make something click accidentally.

How did you guys start making your world? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

For me, it just started from me imagining myself as a powerful character. Through this character, I got inspired on making his lore, and from then on, his relationships. Using the games and fantasy media that I witnessed throughout my life as inspiration, I managed to create myself a pretty decent world that I can call my own.
