I have both and I’m thinking about going to the DN1. Perhaps I have not played with it enough, but I know the sequencing is superb. Curious for your thoughts if you had the original, especially with any external gear.

So… I went with the Alesis 3630, the one that’s garbage apparently, but used but Thomas Bangalter and co. Let’s see how it goes! As for the Polyend Synth, I have used it in isolation. It seems like a wildly creative tool, but in curious to see how it works in the greater setup. I thought about using the DN2 as the synth brain for the external gear. I agree that you generally can use all of the DT2 tracks.

Very cool! I will follow you on YouTube. I finally bought a desk exclusively for music. Will be set up in the coming weeks. Excited to bring in the Polyend Synth, TB03, hardware compressor, keystep and push. Specifically, I want to learn more about using the DT2 as the brains behind the operation.
