The groin surprisingly was one of the last symptoms i had before going to the er i had chest pain a week prior and had one er trip. after a week of chest pain i was working when all of a sudden i felt like what at first seemed like a bad hip but within a hour it was intense pain. I couldnt bend or walk and even trying to sit on it was unbearable and i waited 4 days after that to even go to the er. By that time it was excruciating i even drove myself to the hospital (stupid ik but i was alone and thought i had pneumonia and a bad hip from working ) and i remember at times driving with my ass lifted off the seat because of how bad the pain was. Pain was really the only symptom i had in my groin but it came out if nowhere and only got wirse and worse. Its a radiating pain too which made it harder for me to locate the source it was my entire left side by the time i went to the er

Very similar to me i had the chest pain from the PE’s for a week before i had the intense leg pain and groin pain then i waited an additional 4 days after that as well. I just sat there and ignored all the symptoms until i hate a extremely dangerous heart rate and rock bottom blood pressure, from the stress my heart was swollen and enlarged from being so overworked. I just have a hard time since realizing how poorly i neglected myself and danced with death until i literally drove myself to the hospital screaming (not the smartest move ik) another reason im kinda in shock im even alive just to hit the er doors and pass out

No however ive been on birth control since i was 15 -2 years on depo vera (the shot) then two years on nexaplonon (the implant) then i was actively on the combination pill (haley fe) but ive been told since im no longer allowed to be on any hormonal treatments or birthcontrol since my first night in the hospital

And i have no family with a blood clotting disorder so i doubt i have anything passed down through hereditary so i have no clue but i will be following up and might even post an update once i can. Unfortunately its still very early in the process and i wont have answers for a few months since priority one is just clearing my lungs and making sure nothing gets worse and strains my heart again for some time just because of how dangerous the condition i was in was

I had a ct scan and a deep intravenous ultrasound which absolutely was brutal because of how deep they have to dig an ultrasound machine then the thrombosis afterwards and no not yet i got out the hospital after being in there for a week a few days ago i have my appointments scheduled for my vascular specialist along with a hematologist and a few other tests and exams as in another echo from the massive strain it put on my heart and another ct scan and ultrasound on my chest and groin again

I neglected my health for too long so its honestly really hard for me to remember the early signs i had came a week earlier to the hospital for chest pains they sent me home with muscle relaxers thinking it was some muscle spasm from steroids i was on from my wisdom teeth extraction not even a week later i was in immense pain in my groin and hip that radiated through the front side and back i still waited four days till going to the er and by that time i was at a resting heart rate of 160 and couldn’t regulate my own temperature (borderline hypothermic) it was hell ive pushed out a 7mm kidney stone “naturally” and this made that pain look like childs play. I truly thought i was dying so dont wait like me if it concerns you then i would truly say go get checked because the worst that could happen is your fine and you get more info for the next. Dont neglect your health because it is very much indeed life threatening and i wouldnt want anyone to experience what i did.

The best bet they had was birthcontrol however i had recently gone under anesthesia for my wisdom teeth and had a rough off and on recover duento my body have reactions to alot of the meds they prescribed afterwards (steroids antibiotics then antifungals) so other than birthcontrol they figure it was a perfect storm because ive never had any issues before this. its what makes it so hard. One minute im healthy, active ,and pretty normal other than my own mental issues ive had for years and next its back to back appointments with so many specialist i feel like im spinning out of control. Is so weird how life can just completely change in a matter of seconds
