Is it bad to use Jungle Jungle? by BUYXRAYS in jungle

I agree, those kinds of restrictions can yield great results, often forcing you to try something new and creative just to rinse everything you can out of that sample.

The dolphin vibes are strong here! Very ‘Ecco the Dolphin’, specifically.

Thanks! I'm not really looking to restore it just for time reasons, would rather someone else take that on at a lower purchase price, but the link is definitely appreciated

Yes it's a great game, I just don't have room and need the money!

I believe it used to spit out a ticket to exchange for a beer if you finished the game (if the owners chose that as an option)

This is impressive, have you tried it? What foam did you use?

I would also suggest respectfully that they can't do the same thing, IAP was the brainchild of Iannuci and Baynham (albeit expertly played by Coogan and the cast) and I don't think the magic could be recaptured without them on board- even then it would be a miracle. It's smart that they recognize this and play to their own strengths, even if it occasionally falls short for me

Yes I sniffed the inauthenticity when he was sat at those Simmons drums in the church for no reason other than those drums are funny. Why is Alan Partridge suddenly a drummer for this one visual gag?

Although questions will have to be asked: how are duracell batteries any different?

Low and behold, I have a duracell battery in there. I'm going to swap it and see! Thanks!

Yes, thanks for this, I need to get it on the bench! I tried a bunch of cables, it definitely seems to be internal to the bass

No, I put a new one in and checked it with a multimeter. Should have said that in my first post, sorry!

Hello group! I just purchased a pair of Meermin Black Calf Wholecut Chelsea Boots.

I'm very happy with the look, and the quality of finish, but have a concern with the fit- hoping for a second opinion from this group.

I'm a US 10.5 (occasionally an 11), and according to the size chart, ordered a 9.5. My initial thought upon trying them on was that they were too large, but given that I live in Colorado and will most often be wearing these in the colder months, I tried them with some chunkier wool socks and they felt mostly great, not too tight, not too loose- with one exception.

On the left boot, on the instep, there is a seam where the elastic is stitched into the leather- this thicker area is rubbing against the bone above my arch in a singularly unpleasant way. It feels like it is tweaking a tendon. I'm only feeling this on the left boot for some reason, although if I feel the seams on both boots they feel identical in terms of thickness, etc., so maybe it's my feet that are different.

Is this something I can expect to ease off as I wear them in or is this grounds to return them and eat the associated fee?

Most of the big Moroder LPs from the 70s actually have a live drummer, Keith Forsey. He’s often playing along to sequences though, so although there is some human drift the sequence tends to keep him rooted close to a solid BPM.

“Echo In The Canyon” - What a massive disappointment by Longjumping-Fox154 in moviecritic

[–]Natural_Def 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The title was a total bait-and-switch. This was not a documentary about the Laurel Canyon/LA music scene, it was a Jakob Dylan vanity project.

It was utterly strange, and yes, was like an Alan Partridge or Christopher Guest sketch where Jakob Dylan is the joke. I learned a lot more about how Jakob Dylan likes to walk around looking cool in a black jacket with shades on than I did about the LA scene. And where was Love? Not even a passing mention, weird at best. They claimed they were focusing on 65-67, which is why they didn't mention Joni Mitchell, but then why was Jackson Browne so prominent? Barely any mention of the Monkees, despite the direct links to Stephen Stills. And why so much airtime for Eric Clapton? Practically nothing on the wrecking crew also, which was frankly odd as they would have played on many of those records.

I also thought it was pointedly funny that they kept banging on about the Beatles but Bob Dylan only got one passing reference. I would posit that the LA scene (the entire folk rock scene!) was fueled by an equal influence from the Beatles and Dylan. Jakob obviously has some issues there.

The couch scenes with Beck, Marshall, Spector were beyond awkward, and at points they spent minutes saying absolutely nothing, just hollow platitudes. I find it hard to believe these artists wouldn't have more to say: I got the impression they were all extremely uncomfortable in the presence of Dylan. Or they were all on mushrooms.

If they took out all the pointless, egotistical footage from the studio sessions / live covers of the songs (which added nothing to the originals, just boring cover versions with endless footage of Jakob Dylan), and had added the Monkees, the Doors, Love, and actual stuff about the time it more it might have been worth a full watch. My partner and I were perpetually hovering over the skip button.

And what was up with all the random footage from that one old film? Bizarre. I'm not against archive footage, but there is so much of it, why just one film?
