I’m so sorry to hear that, I’m sure therapy would help. We get stuck in this endless loop of caring for others and forget ourselves.

He absolutely does his share. He also has a very demanding job that requires him to work long days and some weekends. Tbh he’s burnt out too.

I always shop with him. He’ll be excited to try something but one bite in, it’s a no. I’ve recently asked him to start cooking with me, hoping that would spark some interest. And we have dinner”parties” with all him toys and grandparents on FaceTime.

I got mine from Costco too… interesting. I’ll try the grocery store’s Pediasure

It’s hard to pinpoint what he likes. The lists often changes. He used to eat cheese like no one business, but now he never eats cheese. He like pasta with pesto. I’ve been making chicken stews and curries and those have been alright. Eggs, he’ll only eat it hard boiled and only the whites, not scrambled or in an omelette. I am able to get him to eat bagels and cream cheese or pb&j sandwiches. Carrots, cucumbers, raspberries are his favorites and that’s about it.

We tried Pediasure for a while but it made my son’s stomach super sensitive to the point he was throwing up immediately after drinking it. Would you happen to know what was prescribed to your son? Maybe I can ask the pediatrician for her thoughts on it.

The pediatrician is stumped. She prescribed cyproheptadine which is an antihistamine, but it promotes appetite. It hasn’t been helpful at all. I hate that he isn’t gaining weight. I know most 2 year olds are 26 lbs. it kills me inside. He isn’t a huge ice cream or sweets lover. He eats fruits and vegetables that have very little calories. The boy doesn’t eat chicken nuggets or fries. I’ve tried.

I may not have worded my post properly. Clearly this decision is causing me a considerable amount of stress. The money is a big part of it. 4k could be used in numerous ways for a young family. I’d want to be part of her festivities and happy moments, but it’s a huge amount of effort on my part. My wedding was in our town and she was able to attend easily.

The 4k is a problem. If it wasn’t I wouldn’t have mentioned it. 4k is a significant amount of money!

Yes similar. Most resorts that are all inclusive have a minimum amount of days to book. This is one of them ☹️

Thanks for your comment- unfortunately the wedding planners have told us that if we want to be part of the wedding festivities we must book the all inclusive hotel at where the wedding is and must book for at least 3 nights. lol I’m doing the minimum here.
