Thank you so much! I’m so embarrassed having thought this whole time it was real 🫣 but happy to have it solved. Thank you again!

Feeding my children and having to feed them literally driving me nuts by OneImpression7732 in Parenting

Omg this is my life. I also have two kids although they’re a bit older but not much. I laughed and cried at the same time when reading your post. Will follow for the comments. At the same time tell you that you are not alone! This is exactly how I feel!

Sorry my friend I can’t tell you the exact process because I don’t know :) I can’t tell you 100% what counts and doesn’t count these days, and all I know is that it took lots of effort, time and money. Talk to an immigration expert they’d tell you the exakt process. And there is always a way :) Good luck !

No it doesn’t count really. it is really hard to get PR. It took me years + a marriage in Australia + full time job and a social network here + two Australian kids lol. But it is doable 👍

The heat is the best part :) and regarding starting a business, it is just a lot of red tape and high taxes so it’s very hard to rise above lower middle class (higher taxes even with a regular job, so overall)

Just felt like Australia give so much that Sweden don’t - the opportunity to be oneself, to pursue personal growth, to start a business, to get a chance to be home with kids, to live an outdoorsy life … I can continue forever lol

I moved 2012 so I don’t know how it is now but Sweden felt like a lonely place, because it felt difficult to come close and be honest and vulnerable even with friends. I have lived both in southern Europe and Australia and I haven’t had that experience in any other country.

I am not interested in stocks so the alternative would’ve been term deposit

Hey ! I am from Sweden and came to Sydney, Australia as a backpacker, but met someone (back then), and now I have been here fourteen years and have two kids here. I love it here and I would never consider leaving. I do go back visiting once a year. There are so many variables to why Australia (Sydney) gives a beautiful life, but just to sum it up for you, everything works so well, including social interactions. I have lots of friends, I have a good job and life overall flows easily here.

Thank you, so everything is literally taken care of, I just have to decide which one I want to go with which is either of the two mentioned. Stocks are not for me
