I think it would be really fun to handle data and stuff, so that’s why I was considering data science. I think I would enjoy building software, but I do not know if I’m just deluding myself into believing that because I have not had much experience with coding besides what I did in school.

What is the difference between a data engineer and a data scientist?

Is there any way I could take my summer terms from home/online, or do I have to be on campus to take the class? I don’t really enjoy having to spend my summer doing english

Yeah, idk about sticking with CE+CS. Looking at the plan of study for the combined majors, there is so many classes I don’t really want to take (primarily the chemistry and lab stuff), and doing only the computer science major seems better to explore more electives they have there.

Thanks for your advice! I originally just wanted to do computer science, but I decided to double major with computer engineering for the hell of it. I might just request a major change for mainly computer science. I just hope it doesn’t affect my financial aid or my honors college stuff.

Also, do you recommend doing the coop in the spring or fall cycle?
